The Re_Store shop is a Connecting Communities Collective (the Collective) endeavour, led by Hope Kitchen and supported by its Partners;

Healthy Options, ALIEnergy, the Oban Youth Cafe and Atlantis Leisure.

Within this space we are offering our community quality clothing and homeware at affordable prices, ensuring circularity in our economy and resource use, and contributing to the sustainability of our community. We will be running mending, re-use, and re-purpose sessions in our workshop space, and keep you up to date on what’s going on around Oban and our surrounding areas! Feel free to pop in or drop us a line if you have any ideas or suggestions or want to get involved.

Currently we’re open Monday to Thursday, 9.30am to 3.30pm (last customer in at 3.15pm). Watch this space as we intend to increase the opening hours soon.

The Collective is a charities partnership in the Oban area that was set up in 2023, thanks to funding secured from the Community-Led Local Development Fund and Investing in Communities Fund. It grew out of the understanding that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts; that by working together, essential sector organisations can better utilise resources, share learning, and reach to serve more people in their communities. In response to this, the Collective came together to address the challenges facing organisations regarding resources and capacity for partnership work.   We are actively working with the wider sector to encourage and support more connections.
